About this course

This course explores environmental governance as the systems, institutions, actors, and ethical principles that shape environmental decision-making. It focuses on accountability, equity, participation, sustainability, and justice as operational principles of governance. Designed for first-year university students and continuing learners, the course integrates global governance theories with Myanmar and Global South case studies. Through critical engagement with real-world policy challenges, learners will develop the capacity to analyse governance failures and design inclusive and ethical environmental policy responses.
